The project “Key Technologies, Complete Equipment, and Engineering Applications of Ultra-High Voltage AC Transmission” won the Special Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. This is the highest award the State Grid Corporation of China has ever received from the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and also the highest honor my country’s power industry has ever achieved in the National Science and Technology Awards, realizing Chinese innovation and leadership in the global power industry. Xi Jinping smiled and presented the bright red award certificate to Liu Zhenya, the project’s first author, General Manager and Party Secretary of the State Grid Corporation of China, and warmly shook hands to congratulate him. Behind this success lies the wisdom and hard work of General Manager Liu Zhenya and the staff of the State Grid Corporation of China, relying on a high sense of responsibility to the Party and the country, and to the cause, demonstrating a spirit of courage, hard work, independent innovation, and perseverance. To better showcase key technologies and the application of complete sets of equipment and engineering projects, the State Grid Corporation of China purchased a batch of customized floor-standing LCD advertising machines from our company. The design drawings were jointly created by the State Grid Corporation of China’s design department and our company’s engineering department. The display stand in front of the machines can project equipment for application demonstrations, and the LCD screen can play introductions to key technologies, enabling us to more accurately and flawlessly showcase “Key Technologies, Complete Sets of Equipment, and Engineering Applications of UHV AC Transmission.”
